A lexandria is a picturesque village in St. Alban’s township, Licking County, Ohio. The village was founded in 1830 by Alexandria DeVilbis and has a population of around 600. We are proud to be the home of the highly rated Northridge School District. Alexandria is an active and vibrant community. Go to the ServicesWater page to access the link. It may ask you to register an account. The Book number, account number, and service address can all be found on your bill. Remember to use the same capitalization as on the bill as that does matter. If you have any trouble registering for the new site, you can call the office or send an email to the Village Administrator at [email protected] . There will also be instructions in your next water bill. Dirty Dogs Closed It is with a sad heart we mark the closing of Dirty Dog’s BBQ. They were a great addition to our Village and we wish Sean and Kim the best as they "reboot". The building has been sold and will not be a restaurant. Dan Bunting and Alexandria Police Department Highlighted in Article The Reporting Project, a nonprofit news organization of the Denison University Journalism Program, covering Licking County, Ohio, and neighboring regions. Nikki Higgins and Hands and Feet for Christ. There was a nice article in Voyage Ohio Magazine (voyageohio.com) about Nikki Higgins and her family, husband Brad, daughter Laney, and sons William and Finn, and their organization, Hands and Feet for Christ. The organization sponsors our Blessing Box and does many other good works in our community. They seek out residents of the Johnstown, Northridge, and Alexandria communities in need of emotional or physical support and connecting them with helpful resources. The Blessings Box T​ hanks to all who have been rebuilding/repairing the Blessings Box by the Library. Also thanks to all who have been donating food and other items and keeping the box clean and neat. Leave what you can or take what you need. It is truly a blessing for us to be able to help one another and is one of the many things that makes this Village such a wonderful place in which to live. The Licking County Food Pantry News The Food Pantry Truck stops at the Alexandria Methodist Church, 72 Church Street, from 10:30 AM until noon, Produce Market Information Sheet Our residents can also go to the Johnstown Food Pantry located at 140 Pratt Street every Thursday from 10:AM until noon. At the Johnstown Market people can get dry goods in addition to the produce that was on the truck, caned goods and such. In addition, anyone in need with children can get diapers and formula at the Newark location. With so many not working because of the virus, this resource will be vital to a lot of us. CONSTRUCTION PROJECT UPDATE - INTEL Related Planned transportation improvements in the area will be completed in the coming years to accommodate the additional traffic expected from future development, including Intel. Projects will be constructed by both state and local governments, with varying impacts to traffic. Please note that all work is weather dependent.
